What I like most about Simio is the flexibility and depth of its simulation features. Being able to simulate various conditions like manpower fluctuations, machine uptime and predictive maintenance and being able to balance thee line for increased throughput. i had to create a new process for a new line of product in our facility for a sub assembly area. The task was to have enough station so that it does not hold up the line. The analysis and optimization that I performed on Simio helped me achieve that goal. There are great graphics to make your model come to life and to get the attention of stakeholders and your audience.
